Draught@Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Hazy orange colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white beige head. Aroma is fruity, floral, wooden, toffeeish and mild caramelly notes. Flavour is similar with some nectary and honeylike notes as well. Pleasant and nicely bodied.

On tap at HaandFestival 2012. It’s a lightly unclear beer, golden in color and topped by a small, off-white head. Citrus and some biscuity grains in the aroma, rather simple and boring. Citrus dominates the flavor, with some pale malts and a faint touch of diacetyl in the far, far back. Pleasant bitterness all the way. Soft on the palate, medium body. An easy drinkable and tasteful summerbeer. 120504

Draught @ Bishops Arms Örebro. Pours hazy yellowish pale golden with a small creamy white head that quickly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is hoppy fresh with grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, lemon zest, lemon hard candy and hints of pine. Taste is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with grapefruit juice, fresh grass, raw green vegetables, lemon zest, dry soil and hints of soap and lemon cough drops. Mouthfeel is crisp, tiny watery and light bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with grass, pine, orange peal, grapefruit peal and lemon zest.

On draft @ HaandBryggeriet Beer festival 2012. Sampled both with Randall and without. The score is based on the original version as I found the Randall to grassy and bitter in flavor. Almost clear orange/golden with a light white head. Nice aroma of tropical fruit. Flavor is sweet malty, fruity, balanced bitter, some grass and hint of yeast. Medium body and fruity bitter aftertaste. Pretty smooth. Nice without going wild in any direction – and then came the Randall……….

Tasted on its own and through a Randall at Haand. The. Ormal version has lots of tropical fruits, pineapple, cirus, lemongrass in the nose and a balanced smooth taste. The Randall version has a massive nose, like snorting pineapples and mangoes. Very nice.
