From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish, bitter and dark malty. Roasted, dry and bitter. Rather dry far finish.

Draft. A red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of toffee, butterscotch, malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, bread, and a bit of hops, leading to a bitter finish.

75cl bottle from Meny Bjølsen. Pours clear mahogany with a beige head. Roasty aroma with notes of licorice, dark chocolate, spicy hops and hints of coffee, dark fruits and caramel. Moderate sweet and surprisingly flavourful with a nice and balanced bitterness. Nice one!

#536. Svært mørk brun med tynt beige skum. Malt, sjokolade og papirlukt. Fyldig smak, av smalt men fin bitterhet mot bitter sjokolade og kakao. Medium kullsyre.

Flaske batch 509, kjøpt hos Berentsen i Egersund: fluffy skum som faktisk varer. Aroma som forventet av røstet malt, lysbrent kaffe og dronningsjokolade. Slank smak med de samme ingredienser, mildt humlet og med en tørr avslutning som gjør den lett å drikke. Men det gjør ikke prisen, 90 kroner for denne er virkelig alt for mye. Et engangskjøp.
