Draught @ Oslo Mikrobryggeri, Oslo
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt and totally ruined by cooked vegetable. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long cooked vegetable finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Black colour with a beige head. Moderate sweet aroma with coffee and roasted malt. Mild moderate sweet chocolate, coffee and raosted malt flavour. If this was a normal stout. I would have said. Well done. Misses some power to be called an Imperial Stout. Anyway an ok beer.

At brewpub: Pours a black with beige head. Aroma is slightly roasty. It has a velvety mouthfeel. There be some small roasted malts. Some sugar be there aussi. It has no hops. I thought this was 4-5% alcohol (Judging by taste), so I was surprised to find out I was drinking an Imperial Stout when I checked the tap from whence it came. There is nothing bad here, but alas, there is not enough good.

On tap at the brewpub. Black with a nice, creamy, beige head. Fruity aroma with roasted malt with hints of dried fruits, chocolate and smoke. Sweet, but well balanced. Quite mild and light IS, but very pleasant. (2012-05-26)

Draft at the source. Dark brown color, medium tan head. Aroma of cafe au lait. Taste has mild roastiness. Underwhelming.

Tap @ Oslo Mikrobryggeri. This is a deep deep red-brown beer with a nice and really creamy khaki, lacing and lasting head. The aroma is mildly roasted with nice tones of both fruit, coffee and chocolate. Soft carbonation and it has a gentle creamy and quite nice mouthfeel. Flavors are like a mild and kind stout should be. Light roasted with references to both chocolate and coffee. This also has a light but distinct fruity hint in the finish and aftertaste. Yeah, I quite liked this one, but it's no imperial stout this!

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt as well as lighter notes of soy sauce and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of rosted almost burnt malt as well as notes of wood and soy sauce, leading to a very dry and bitter finish. Light bodied.
