Coffee, roast, hoppy, bitter. I would say more of Black IPA. But yeah nice hoppy porter!

Draught @ Oslo Mikrobryggeri, Oslo
Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, caramel and licorice. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long licorice and caramel finish. Body is light, texture is thin to watery, carbonation is soft.

At the brewpub: Pours a dark brown with a creamy head. Weak porter aroma--kind of bready. Light pretzel flavour. Barely any hops or roasted malt. This is sessionable, but it is not a very good porter.

Draft at the source. Dark and clear ruby color. Aroma of caramel and subtle coffee. Taste starts sweet, then bitter, with some strange citrus that seems out of place.

On tap at brewpub. Dark ruby colour with a tan head. Malty and fruity nose. Medium sweet with a lot of flowerish flavour . I really enjoy this.

Tap @ Oslo Mikrobryggeri. Pours a dark dark ruby red body with a small creamy off white head. Aroma is quite sweet with notes of flowers and roasted malts. Light sticky to oily mouthfeeling and it's quite softly carbonated. Tastes really sweet with lots of flowerish notes. Also some burned caramel in the background. Not your, or mine at least, typical porter. More like a red ale.

Draught at the brewpub Clear, deep brown body. Smaal, creamy, lightly brown head. Nice looks. Very interesting, complex aroma of caramel, spices, chocolate malts, white wine, port, alcohol and some smoke: so very complex and also well balanced. Moderately bitter, moderately sweet. Bit tartness from (German) hops and some yeastiness in the finish. Warming mouthfeel. Very nice porter.
