Bottle - Leather, feet, dark malts and rye spice. Cloudy brown with a thin whitish head. Tastes much like it smells with a bit of grass. The rye makes this pretty cool, I like this.

22oz bomber...stored in the closet a little too long I’d wager. Unfiltered cloudy orange-tan. Massive gushing head when poured..leads me to think infection. One of the worst beers I’ve ever had from California, garbage aroma, and gross rye-saison mix. Flat out bad, this is a waste of good ingredients, a truly awful end product.

Bomber from Total Wine West Richmond, VA. A bit of a gusher. Pours a clear amber color with a thin fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of spicy rye, apple, earth, bread and a near metallic note. The taste is rye, tea, apples, pale malts, faint caramel. Medium bodied. Weird one. Neither good nor bad. Just weird.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a orange tint and a thinnish off-white head, about only a centimetre tall. Aroma of alcohol, yeast, coriander seed, curacao and a bit of rye - not much though. Medium-bodied; Assertive yeast and a good amount of coriander seed and lemon and orange rinds. Aftertaste is fairly mild with the yeast and malt coming through but not much of anything else. A touch of sugars at the end with a hint of bitterness. Overall, an acceptable beer - but nothing sublime and with a few good tastes, nice, but not as complex as I was expecting. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Super Jr Market (BestDamnBeer Shop) in San Diego, California on 06-May-2012 for US$6.49 sampled at home in Washington on 05-July-2012.

Mostly clear orange with a thin whit head. Some malt, some citrus in the aroma, not much here really. Light sweetness at the start, some bitterness in the finish. Not very complex, but no faults either.

Decent saison. It got much better as it warmed up.

Pours clear light copper color with white head. Grainy and malty aroma. Sweet caramel and cereal malt flavors with some grassy hops. Medium body with average carbonation. OK, but not worth seeking out or having again.

Bottle. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a quick to fade white ring. Some very light lace. Aromas are grainy, malty, peanut shells, light esters and phenols, black pepper and 3M scotch-tape. Light banana and vanilla as well. Flavors are way too sweet for a saison. Lots of bubble gum, plastic, waxy, banana. Light rye spiciness. Odd candy-ish ester. Lively bubbles, medium dry. Not really flawed as a belgian beer, but not a great saison, and not particularly what I want to drink.

Bomber from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Bottle says 8%. Pours translucent orange amber with a creamy off-white or beige head. Smells of citrus and a little barnyard. The body is sort of medium creamy. The flavor has rye, some Belgian spice, and some light barnyard accompaniment. Citrus is very light. It gets more saison like with time. Seems like it is a bit confused. Drinks well.
