Tap at Tsuki To Taiyo. Caramel, bit of a hoppy bite, orange and citrus but malt dominates. Not so bitter. Not much aroma at all.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a large fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tart and tangy with fruity hops and faint tobacco. The flavor was bitter and somewhat rough with lemon, grapefruit and tobacco. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Hazy dull tan, moderate aroma with a bit each of malt, fruit and hop. Medium bitterness, dash of alcohol, fairly sweet malts until the fruity hop character slides in.

Pours dark orange with a sticky white head. Aroma of exotic fruits, crisp caramely malts, grass and herbal notes. Taste is sweet, juicy fruity and crisp biscuity malty with some caramel and grass. Finish is crisp, sweetish and malty with some caramel. Okay.

Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is a resiny hop with plenty of caramel malt to back things up. Flavor is moderately flavorful hops with a strong earthy malt with a little toffee left on the tongue. One of those IPA’s where the strong malt presence almost takes over any hop profile. Maybe the beer was a bit old but this hops should have come out more.

Pleasant mild aroma leads into a sharp, biting palate. Amber colored with adequate creamy sand colored head. Malt and hops equally represent in the aroma, but hops come on full bore in the taste. Astringent , tingly palate, leaves your mouth alive.
