Non filtered, non pasteurised beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle High range stout beer. Food and drinks at the same time Mocha aroma with a subtle touch of sweetness. The slightly roasted and bitter taste makes this stout a very enjoyable drink. Not for just anyone, for beer lovers only.

Bottle at Pig’s Ear BF 08. Lovely dark beer. Good malts, nice choc. Bit of plastic. Seriously decent stout. Wouldn’t pick it as a Belgian beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Grovlam. Hazy, reddish brown with a dense, beige head. Tart, lightly burned aroma. Medium body with very hard roasted malt accents - actually quite burned - with some malt astringency. A Belgian stout that ain’t stickingly sweet - wauw! 310807

Black color. Strange aroma, light, milky, with delicate roasted malt and nuts. Medium body strength, milky roasted malt flavor, but something is wrong here. The roasted malt gives a light sourness at the end. Chaotic.

Bottled. Black (very dark brown/amber) colour with some slight head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, leather and some slight roast. Flavour is very sroasted malts with some fruity hints. Aftetrtaste goes more towards caramellishness.

Deep, black body. Creamy, lightly brown head. Aroma of malts, liquor, ...: quite lovely and complex. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Good balance. Very nice beer for it’s rather low ABV.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown/black and tan colored head. The aroma is smokey and sweet roasted malt. The flavor was rich chocolate roasted malt and liqourish tangy finish.

Dirty greige, dense head over black beer. Very stout-like nose with a touch of sweetness, saltiness, dark grains and hence roastiness. Sweet stout, not unlike a sweet version of Guinness, but much more lively. Ending on liquorice. Well-bodied, certainly for a 5.5% ABV beer. A nice light stout, (dark) grainy taste.
