Van nature troebel meergranen Abdijbier van hoge gisting. Lichtblond gekleurd, volle frisse fruitsmaak. Lichtbitter en zoete afdronk. Zo lecker kan historie zijn.

Bottled. A golden beer with sediment floating around under a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt, yeast, and lots of fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit, alcohol, and yeast, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.

Bottle at a bar in Utrecht. Hazy gold with the merest of heads. Sweet, yeast and malt aroma with some spiciness, similar flavour. Hugely forgettable.

[30cl bottle] Hazy, orange golden colour with a short blond foamy head. Sweet and yeasty bready malty nose with a tinge of citrus and pretty strong spicy notes. Sweet flavour with a light level of bitterness that tries to give a little balance but fails, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malty and bready taste. Medium-dry, malt-accented and moderately spicy finish. [07.I.09].

Bottle, 7.5%. Weak malt aroma. Cloudy yellow colour, very small white head. The flavour is dusty and peppery. There is some grain and rough bitterness. Yeasty finish, but OK clean baking yeast. Good mouthfeel, seems wheaty.

Bottled (BB 07/2009). A bit hazy orange color, small white head. Cardboardish, sour peppery aroma with pear fruityness. White pepper, pear and paper in the flavor. Spicey finish. Odd and not very tasty.
