On tap. Pours with a lightly hazed yellow body and a lasting white head. Aromas are of esters, fruity, lacitc, yogurt, honey ans biscuity malt. Flavors are of apples, lactic, fruity, starfruit, and some acid. Lively bubbles, small and dry. No where near as good as the regular berliner.

Bottle thanks to James/Sean! Pours a very cloudy pale gold with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma is funky with a note of bath water and light fruit, mainly peach. Flavor has a light peach note with backing funk. It’s a bit thin but drinkable.

Had notes on this from this year’s GABF, but I did not want to enter the beer myself because I didn’t get any concrete info on the style - I did not think this in any way resembled a Berliner Weisse - hazy straw color - pretty foamy - not really tart or lactic at all - there was some lemony citrus zest going on, but mostly there was a strong mix of odd herbal characteristics and some wildflower - tasted quite a bit like scented soap and smelled a lot like those fancy hand soaps you can buy at whole foods with weird herbs in them - a bit of off vegetal notes - the herbs soften in the finish a little, but the overall impression is of drinking out of a freshly cleaned glass that has not been properly rinsed - a huge disappointment.
