Can. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wheat, barley, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, yeast, and bread, leading to a dry finish.

Can 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a white head. Fruity, yeasty aroma. Light body, smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation. Fruity with a citrus twist, sweetish with hardly any bitterness. Easy going. 301012

12 fl oz can. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry estery, fruity and light citrusy. Citric, smooth fruity and hoppy, a bit flat and tired. Dry wheaty and lingering fruity into the finish.

Refrigerated can from JStax poured into a weizen glass. Pours cloudy deep golden with medium fluffy white head and chunks of suspended yeast. Nice big bubble lacing, medium body, medium/high carbonation, and herbal hop aroma. Taste is herbal hops, some citus, and wheat finish. Just above average wheat beer.

Location: 12 oz can from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 6/13/12

Aroma: The nose has some wheat, grains, lemon notes, and light spice
Appearance: It pours a cloudy yellow color with a bright white head and light-mid lace
Flavor: The taste is averagely sweet, wheat, grains, and citrus, with minimal bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a solid, slightly creamy, clean feel, and a lightly spicy finish
Overall Impression: Overall, this one is a decent wheat ale. It was certainly better then I expected. Solid attempt by Tallgrass here.

Poured from can at SAVOR. Poured a straw yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma was wheat, citrus lemon, touch of bready yeast. Flavor was wheat, lemon. This was served a bit cold, but was pretty refreshing.

Can: Nose is mildy sweet with hints of malt, wheat, and lemon. Tastes heavy with wheat and lighty floral/grassey. Smooth and crisp? Well it sort of is. Nothing really stands out here, but I am really enjoying the body and balance here. Can #6 shows a hazy pale yellow pour with a thick, creamy white head when poured into a glass... Drank the other 5 from the can. A beauty for what it is.

Can @ home. Pours a cloudy, golden-orange appearance with a big, off-white head. Spicy yeasty/wheat malty, orange fruity, a bit bready, citrusy aroma. A touch bitter, rich, somewhat spicy wheat malty, somewhat fruity yeasty, orange citrusy flavor. Drinks pretty easy. Probably wouldn’t be a bad beer to chug while fishing and while many will find this a run of the mill wheat ale, I find it to one of the better wheat ales out there.

There is not a lot to this wheat beer. It seems like they are trying to make a session beer, especially with the can, and that is fine. But they have put very little character into this at all. It has light aroma and light flavor. Some aroma of yeast, and very light wheat. Flavor is just a little sweet, nothing else. Drinkable enough on a warm summer day, but it doesn’t have much to offer.
