Tap @ brewpub. Deep orange/brown appearance with a brown head. Quite malty (toffee, chocolate, caramel), slightly nutty aroma. Pretty strong toffee maltimess with a light, lingering bitterness.

Draft at Upstream. Thick burgundy brown. Pretty well done, true to style. Brown malt, caramel, brown sugar notes. Sweet and malt centered all the way. No real hop character besides some faint soapiness. OK.

growler @Mels YEHA-pours an off white head and copper/red color. Aroma is medium malt-sweet, medium fruit. Taste is medium malt-sweet, medium fruit, scotch. Mild carbonation.
