Opaque black beer with a short lived creamy tan head. Soft palate. Semi dry. An aroma and taste of grassy hops. Smooth dry malt rides alongside. Reminded by strongly of ’Dark Hops’ by ’Beer Here’ but this is just a tad better. Smoother.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a slight creamy/bubbly tan head. Nice aromas of floral/fruity hop over chocolate? Med plus body. Flavor is fruity hop over some rather chocolatey very toasted/burnt malt. There’s a lot of flavor here. Tastes good.

Courtesy of juiceisloose. Thanks Justin! Bomber pours mahogany with ruby edges and mocha head. The aroma has some dark roasted malts, nice earthiness, some tangerine, apricot and an earthy roasty black tea like sense. The taste is similar with dark roasted malts, some spicy hops, a little bit of chocolate, a pleasing level of earthiness and some grapefruit too. Into the finish hop resin and a modest level of dark roasted malts help dry this out into the finish.

On tap at The Taphouse, pours dark brown/black with a small head. Aroma of light hops, some roasted flavours and a bit of smoke. Flavour of nuts, wood, roastiness and somewhat bitter hops that lingers. Excellent brew.

City Beer Store. Very good for the sub style. Pours a very dark ruby color with a big beige head. There’s some chocolate and roast bitterness underneath big citric and minty hops. It’s quite dry, similar to other Midnight Sun DIPAs that I’ve tried. Big, bitter hop finish. It’s not really a punishing DIPA, but it’s dry and bitter from both hops and malt and leaves an impact. I liked it better as it warmed up a bit. Good dose of hops with a fair bit of roast.

Bottle Pours out a dark brown topped with a nice head. Aroma was very nice lots of sweetness. Plenty of the caramel and some pine hops. Tast was very full. More of the sweetness and now the hops are a little more citrus. A nice malt and a little roast. Tasty thanks Toby.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a light brown head and a black body. Good lace by the head. Amazing hop aroma with tons of citrus and a bit of chocolate and caramel on the back end. Taste is light roasty backbone and a strong pink grapefruit hop presence. Syrupy mouthfeel and light carbonation.
