12 ounce bottle. Copper color topped by a massive foamy beige head. Big toasted malt nose has obvious notes of rye and spicy hops. Bittersweet toasted malt upfront. Resiny hops and rye malt are there as well. Big hop prescence. Well crafted and a must for hop lovers. A very good East Coast IPA.

On draft at Philidelphia airport. Pours a deep amber, rocky off white head, aroma of grapefruit and floral hops, some biscuity malts there too. Good mouthfeel, not completely full and oily, but nice and spicy from the rye. Flavor is grapefruit and floral hops, very slight rye character, not quite as much as hoped for. Good bitter finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and light grapefruity. Peachy, grapefruity and lingering citrusy to grapefruity. Bitter and lasting fruity impression into the far finish.

Draft: Poured a copper color with a tan head. Aroma is very hoppy with a hint of spice/rye. The taste is very lively on the tongue with loads of hops and rye. I have to say that I love hops and rye, however this seemed so one sided that they didn’t work together for me. Extremely bitter and acidic.

Melted cqramel in color with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, spicy rye, light pine and some malt. Has a pretty hearty bite due to the hops and tasty rye. Grapefruit, light earth and pine and malts. Drying finish. Fantastic beer.

Draught at a Jet Rock Bar, PHL Airport. Well this certainly woke me up after a transatlantic flight - it was a bit like being hit over the head with a sock full of hops; gold with a thin white head and a light pine aroma; a thick oily texture, with orange citrus and pine resin flavours; and a good hoppy kick to finish.

On cask at Friday the Firkenteenth at the Grey Lodge Pub. Translucent amber, orange with a lacing white head. Citrus aroma, pine, slightly vegetal. Flavor is strong with lemons, grapefruits. Bitter finish. Not enough sweetness to go with all the hops.
