This wily red IPA gets its character from the Tasmanian hops that are full of grapefruit, pine and earthy notes creating a bold flavor that threads throughout the taste. The hops are balanced by a core of roasty malts that give this brew body and richness with hints of toffee. This flavorful brew is rounded and smooth with a dry and citrusy hop finish.

Purchased as part of a 12 pack, enjoyed after eating two burgers and a steak on the first nice day of spring. Appearance is a partially dark red with a thin white head. Aroma of crisp malt, also of moderate hops. Taste goes down nice and crisp, decent stuff.

Bomber courtesy of Ida (non-RB). Pours cloudy red with a creamy beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sticky lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty and hoppy with caramel, orange peal, pine, freshly cut grass, caramelized red apples, sweet bread, overripe almost rotten lemons and hints of vanilla. Taste is sweet and bitter with burnt sugar, caramelized apples, bread, orange peal, pine, grass, rotten lemons, rotten apples, caramel and toffee. Mouthfeel is round, tiny watery, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with caramel, orange peal, dark bread, rotten citrus fruits and cereal. Missed the spot completely.
