On tap at Pratt Street Ale House. Pours a hazy orange with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit, earth, pine. Medium body, pine, grapefruit, nice bitterness, very good.

Draft pour at the 2017 DC Beer Festival. Poured a hazy yellow-orange color with a fluffy white head. Aroma was sweet malts, some light biscuit, some floral notes. Nice hop bitterness. Tasty. Resin finish.

12 oz can from a friend, thanks Mike! Canned 7/7/2016. Had it as Draft Punk too long ago but happy to finally re-visit it. Slightly hazy orange with 1-2 fingers of off-white head. Aromas of biscuit, bitter floral, light citrus. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, biscuit, subtle tropical fruit. Medium body with a dry finish.

Slightly hazy golden and copper coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh high alpha acid hops with grapefruit, pine and resin all noticeable with a bit kick from the malt and alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong resinous flavour with a good deal of pine and earth coupled with a lot of malt, toffee, earth, grapefruit and a kick of alcohol near the end. Aftertaste shows some assertive grass and resin with alcohol and a lot of malt for the style. Overall, a definite east-coast IPA with a lot of malt and toffee showing throughout, but supported by a nice casting of high alpha acid hops. Good to sample, not my favourite IPA from the east coast here, but a good option to try should you be able to find this one! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from The Perfect Pour in Elk Ridge, Maryland on 18-July-2016 for US$12,99 / six pack sampled at home in Washington on 01-September-2016.

Sampled on draft at the Pratt St Ale House this beer poured a dark golden amber color with a small creamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish and citric. The flavor was tart, bitter and semi-dry with notes of pine, citrus and an off sour undertone. Long finish. Moderately full boded. Decent.

16oz pour at Fireworks, Arlington. Pours a murky orange with a frothy, lacing white head. Nose is nice, oranges, flowers, honey, grassy, lemons. Flavor is the same, strong hop flavor without being overly bitter, lemons, oranges, grapefruit, pine, grass, some light caramel sweetness, a little cracker. Medium bodied, dry bitter finish. This beer was made for the cask. Too much carbonation would crush your palate. As it is, it’s an easy drinker with solid flavor.

Draft at Paradiso Dupont. Variegated golden brown color, medium beige head. Aroma of summer fruits, citrus, white pepper. Taste reminds me of a cross netween an English IPA and a bitter. Nice.Earlier Rating: 6/30/2011 Total Score: 4Cask at Churchkey. This is batch two, dry-hopped with citra. Light clear golden color, large bubble head. Aroma of wet grass and citrus. Taste is a nice pine/citrus/grass combination. Bitter, dry finish. Good choice for a cask ale. CAMRA would be proud!
