In tribute to its namesake god of agriculture, SATURN celebrates a bountiful Pacific Northwest hop harvest. Ample malt sets the stage for this end-of-season party. Fresh Cascade and Centennial hops from Yakima Valley mingle with Belgian yeasts to impart abundant spice and earthiness.

Slightly hazy bright copper coloured body with an orange glow and a very thick, dense, soapy white head that leaves some ugly lacing. Aroma of soap, strong yeast, malt, hops, honey and some fresh fruit. Medium-bodied; Effervescent feeling with a lot of yeast and european hops running around. A touch of caramel and fruit balances nicely and a bit of nuttiness at the end make it fairly complex as well. Overall, a good beer, not great, and perhaps a bit too bitter and drying even for the style. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from La Bodega (Yukon Spirits) in Anchorage, Alaska on 26-June-2010, sampled all on the other side of the USA on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 23-July-2010.

bottle at Fort Wayne tasting courtesy of unofficial Midnight Sun ambassador jsquire - Pours hazy copper and has a rich citrus hop aroma. It tastes of Belgian yeast and malt that’s been very hopped up. Heavy bitterness is joined by some citrus notes in this very tasty, medium to full bodied brew.

Bottle thanks to AmEricanbrew. Pours with a huge foamy white head over a clear amber body. Aroma of tropical fruits, brown sugar and belgian yeast. Taste is hops, brown sugar, exotic fruits and an earthy quality. Lively mouthfeel and syrupy.
