Bottle - Earthy hops, pine, grapefruit and nice malts to balance. Clear dark amber with thick white head. Rich pine, orange peel, resin and a smooth bitterness that lasts well pas the finish. Lives up to the "imperial’ standard, and definitely a beer to wreck your palate.

Bomber shared by tia and HopTsing at the 18th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of citrus, herbal and peppery hops with pale malts. The taste is tea, citrus, bitter hops and candied citrus. Medium-full bodied. Nice beer.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 3/24/12

Aroma: The nose has some grassy hops, pine, fruity notes, some caramel, and a bit of bread
Appearance: It pours orange with a fairly thick white head and fairly heavy lacing on the glass
Flavor: The taste is light-medium sweet, fruit and caramel, with a mid-full piney hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-full, it feels somewhat sticky, with average carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I actually found this one to be a really solid IIPA, and I'm actually surprised it isn't a little higher in the style. It isn't a top of style offering, but I still found it to be very solid.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours light amber with a large foamy beige head. Aroma is heavily floral over light caramel. Flavor is piney/citrus/floral with pine seeming to come on predominately. Certainly true to the NW traditions of hop/hop/hop. Nice long smooth bitter finish. Excellent.

22 oz. bottle, split with manuchampions, pours a cloudy copper / amber with a small white head. Very herbal hop aroma with secondary characteristics of grass, grapefruit and caramel. Flavour of surprisingly complex hop flavours, lots of spicy notes and potent hemp. Absolutely fantastic.
