Scratch #37 features Warrior and Cluster hops with a touch of Columbus. It pours a bright gold with a white cap and soft carbonation. Ripe fruits are present on the nose, and continue in the taste giving a lush, tropical papaya-like flavor. This ample bitterness is offset by sweet Munich malt that lingers through each taste. Enjoy our latest IPA foray, and stay tuned for future experiments in the style. Research has rarely been so rewarding.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a cloudy golden with a tiny white head. Harsh hoppy and somewhat phenollic aroma. Medium body, sweet malts and fruit but again this rather harsh hoppiness. Not sure if I’m really fond of the hop profile here. 030612

12 oz bottle-pours a white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit, light/medium malt-bready/caramel. Taste is sweet tropical fruit/some pine/resin hops with a gentle bite, light/medium malt-bready/caramel. Slick mouth feel. Good carbonation.

Received in trade from DavoleBomb, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a crystal clear deep golden color with a thinnish white head that disappears almost instantly leaving no trace of its existence. Smells quite malty for an IPA, bread and caramel mixed with hints of citrus mostly lemon and grapefruit. Maybe some tropical fruits or pineapples thrown in there as well. Taste has hints of bitterness but again is quite malty. Sweet fruits, toffee and bread mixed with hints of lemons and grapefruits. I get more hop punch in the taste than I do the aroma but it is still quite mild for an IPA or maybe my palette has just given up. Medium body with a light level of carbonation and a sweetly resinous mouthfeel. Solid easy to drink, but certainly nothing spectacular here. Alcohol is well hidden

12oz Bottle Pours out cloudy straw topped with a small head. Aroma was quit the hop mix, citrus, tropical fruit, floral, pine, along with some light caramel sweetness. Taste was all the hop mix along with the malt backbone to hold this one together.
