Bottled. A bit of spiciness and some caramel. AN ok winter beer though not my favorite.

Refrigerated 12 oz bottle poured into a glass. Clear dark amber with medium off white head. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is caramel malt and herbal spice.

A rather unique Winter Warmer. Has some Scottish Ale tone for sure, more so than a Wee heavy, which I assumed this was at 6%. Not quite spiced, but a lot of fruitcake depth which reminds me of Winter Warmers. Kind of a product of the past, when breweries were interested in creating something unique, malt interplay ect. Good.

6-pack for my 2019 Easter Vermont weekend. Pours a clean amber colour with a big frothy light-beige head with good retention and full of creamy lacing waving around. Aromas are a nice blend of spicy rye grains, caramel malts and hints molasses, alcohol. The taste shows the caramel and again, light molasses to balance out the sweetness. The other thing that helps out is the dryness that builds in the finish. Like it says - a rich, robust winter beer for 6% ABV.

Pours a nice rich brown from a bottle, malty, rye bread and leather aroma, similar flavor, a little fizzy in the mouth. Very dry finish is nice.

From old tasting notes. Tawny copper, brown color. Small white head. Earthy sweet malt nose. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor has an intense bitter hop aftertaste. Dry puckery mouthfeel.

Bottle shared by Kelly and Paul, thanks for the opportunity! deep brown color off white head. Rich toffee and caramel with a bit of butterscotch and movie theater butter. Decent beer.
