Draught @ Toronado, San Francisco, CA
Pours golden orange with a small head. Aroma of fresh tropical fruits, caramely malts, syrup and citrus. Taste is malty, sweet and juicy with some tropical notes, grapefruit and lemon. Finish is sticky sweet, a bit stuffy with loads of tropical fruits, caramely malts and sweet toffee. A bit too sweet and malty for my taste.

On tap via cask at the brewpub. Pours deep clear gold with white head. The aroma goes from sweet to citrus to more and more grapefruit tartness. Wow, wonderful aroma. The taste is bitter with a bit of pine and then quickly moving into grapefruit hop flavor and then some grapefruit hop bitterness with a solid malt support in the background. It gets more and more pine bitterness into the finish leaving some pine resin and echoes of grapefruit into the after taste.
