Bottle. Poured pale yellow gold with fast disappearing white head. Malty aroma. Thin watery body with a little malty taste. Almost no finish. This is another of those beers that I remember as being better than it is.

Draft at Brews in the Village; (one guy I know claimed it was the best beer here, I strongly disagree); Nose of vanilla and caramel; clear gold with a small white head; flavor was sweet caramel cream and only a minor hop presence in the background. Too sweet!

Straw aroma ringed with vanilla. Yellow color, no head. Harsh carbonation. Taste is very corny. I don’t remember what I paid for it, but it tastes very cheap.

A golden beer with a thin white head. Corny aroma. Corny and metallic taste, rather unremarkable macro swill. Tap. Pint at 1.50$ at Clarks Ale House, Syracuse, Feb.5 2007.

Can, 355 ml, "gift" from Marc Gratton on April 20 2007, "savoured" on April 24 2007; eye: straw, clear, light effervescence, thin white head that disappears rapidly, no lacing; nose: faint odours, slight malt; mouth: in that order, watery, fizzy, faint taste, carbonation makes it "peppery", slight bitterness, average-length finale in malt-corn, lightly sweet, medium body, grainy texture; overall: so! Well, I got a sixer of this for a mere 4.50. I expected the worst and got something slightly better. Though the beer smells like the average pale lager, it actually has a nice sweetish taste to it. As far as cheap-o beer goes, this is one of the far more interesting beers out there. Nothing really great, but you can almost savour it, while swilling it quickly.

Purchased at JR’s beer warehouse in rochester. On sale, after rebate cost was 24 cents 12 oz can. Decent beer for the price, I wish it cost this much all the time and I’d buy it. It is your typical pale yellow american brew with a little more smoothness than usual. Even tho it has a rather odd initial flavor it is short and the finish has no bitter aftertaste. Poured clear in my three stooges glass. In the old days, I think this stuff was brewed in Buffalo and tasted a little better as I recall.

This has the sweet flavor of Grainbelt premium with an extra touch of spice and alcohol. It isn’t bad for a very light beer.

Bottle. A sweet corn and old barley aroma. Golden yellow with little head. Sweet corn and barley malt flavor. Medium body. Not a big fan of that sweet corn flavor - Not horrible but not one to go out of your way to taste.
