Cask version. Mass brewed bitter and it shows, little flavour or excitement in this one.

It is strongly suspected that the Cathedral City Ale 3.6% made by Coors UK for the City Arms in Wells, Somerset is this beer as a rebadge. Bright bronze colour. Brassy, caramelly aroma with light earthy hop nose. Very light, with toasty, earthy character and a subtle fruitiness.

Cask handpull at Thomas Ingoldsby, JDW, Canterbury. Amber with lasting beige head. Amazed to see this. Some caramel on aroma. OK in mouth. Bland but in good condition. But does have a hoppy tingle on end, not absolutely awful, but very bland.

[Cask at Wetherspoon’s in Stanstedt Airport as Worthington’s Cask Ale] An amber beer with a slight haze under a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and malt. The mouthfeel is very smooth and the flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts and caramel. OK, but nothing special.

Cask (anywhere on the Gower peninsula...) as "Worthington’s Cask Ale": Copper coloured, thin, stable lacing head; almost no aroma, maybe hints of fruitiness and yeast; delicate bitter flavour, thin bodied; also watery and thin finish with illusions of malt and bitterness. A real tasteless brew.........

Cask@Weatherspoon, Stansted Airport as "Worthington’s Cask Ale". Nut brown, not much head. Nutty malty nose. Soft, slightly fruity and malty flavor. Some hops in the aftertaste. Overall quite watery and tasteless.
