Very nice amber pour, wicked lacing and sticky head. A subtle citrucy aroma it’s a little muted, I would expect it to be q little more in your face. There are some nice malt notes, some more citrus, blood orange and a good amount of bitterneSs. There is one thing I didn’t like was that right before the great bitter finish there was a quite intense sweetness that I didn’t really enjoy. But overall it was a nice beer. I would to be able to get beers from this brewery In Ontario.

Very aromatic, fruity and resinous nose. Aromas found were: conifer, orange, banana and caramel. A good mix of fruits and resin. Good balance of aroma and strong power also. Color is very clear golden / amber, white head is thick, creamy, dense and long lasting. Lacing is nice without being exceptional. Attack is on all fronts: sugars, bitterness and with a slight acidity. We find orange, caramel, jujube, conifer, green grass and rose water. Wide palette and complexity of flavors. Exceptional malt / hop balance. Mouth feel is unctuous and full.

Bouteille 500ml. Carbonation moyenne, corps moyen.

A reddish orange amber IPA with a thick moka head. In aroma, pleasant fragrant hops, floral and sweet, pink grapefruits, lightly muskey. In mouth, a smooth sweetish malt with light acidic points, grapefruit chunks, warming alcohol, pinhey hops, smooth and well balanced.

500mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp, pours a cloudy golden orange with an off-white head. Like the other Charlevoix Double IPAs, this has a very fruity nose, caramel and citrusy hops. Flavour of caramel, citrusy hops, and fruits (mango, peach, pineapple, grapefruit). Excellent.

Courtesy of after4ever. Thanks Tom. Pours clear deep copper with white head. The aroma is modest in strength with spicy hops and some citrus as well as malt sweetness off in the background. The taste is pretty smooth and sweet rolling into a modest level of spicy hops and smooth citrus hop flavor. It seems this may have a bit of age on it creating a smoothness that doesn’t fit too well into this bold style.

500ml bottle pours a transparent, light orange amber with some frothy, white head. Aroma is obviously Simcoe hops, flower petals, orange rinds, candy. Flavor is well balanced, sweet, citrus, pine, caramel, oranges, caramelized sugar. Finish is medium bodied with a lasting bitterness.

Golden color, white head, scant lacing. Aroma of citrus and freshly cut grass. Taste has lots of flowers, citrus, caramel. Very tasty, could be better balanced.

Bottle: Poured a deep clear amber color ale with large foamy head with good retention and some very good lacing. Aroma of floral hops with subtle bitterness. Taste is a mix between some floral hops with some caramel malt and light bitterness at the end. Body is about average with great carbonation and no signs of alcohol. Not bad though not as hoppy as I was expecting.
