Deep copper coloured Christmas beer, unspiced contrary to many of its congeners, dried fruits, caramel, some roasted bitterness, smooth mouthfeel, subdued sweetishness and hop bitterish finish. Good but somewhat forgettable - which is too bad, since it is apparently not made anymore.

Dark maroon color with a small white head and delicate lacing. Aroma of caramel, prunes and light spice. Flavor of dark winter fruits, malt and caramel. Good body. Interesting example of the style, worth trying.

A very light nose of preserved mushrooms. beautiful light orangey colour - but that is one of the most positive things about this ''light'' Christmas ale. Palate as from straw or hay.
