Can. A golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet with some weird note of vitamins as well as light notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of brewing syrup as well as faint notes of malt, and hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Can’t really offend you for anything else than being so boring.

Bottle. Tried this on a dare, and too get some good Cape red. Somewhat pleasant aroma that turns into a sour mess. Ghastly metallic flavour, that reminds me of the taste of a rifle cartridge. Very little finish and what was there was blah.

Can with wild love to Matt. This can is at least ten years old and has waited for a while for this holiest of days. Pours an unspectacular gold and has aromes of light fruit and honey. Flavor is similar enough to the nose and I’m wondering just how much this has improved with age. Memory serves that this was an alcoholic’s dream before but this is a mead-like mess.

Overall Impression: A generic crappy beer you can find anywhere, but just because you can find it is no reason to drink it.

Icehouse, I thought I already rated this pale lager. Perhaps it was some other beer from planck, heheh, brewing. Got a 24 count case for $12 at the beer for less in moon. From a 12 oz bottle with a twist off cap. At first pop, seems to smell courteously yeasty then in the glass it cheapens up a bit. Looks like any other pale American lager. No head, just thin froth. First taste is to some extent cheaper pale lager but has enough beery traits to keep it above the fray. Carbonation is somewhat bubbly and welcomed. Probably not as nasty as most cheap ice beers. Does not seem to induce any choke reflexes and I’m glad of that. Too many of those cheapie ices achieve that. An overall tolerable beer from a bottle. Maybe a tad gruelingly sweet on the finish. For the price there are many other beers out there that come much less pricey. S5L1F3T4O

This is a watered down piss poor beer who’s only saving grace is the 5 and a half percent to make you forget about the crap you are drinking.

Bottle: Poured a clear pale yellow color with a foamy white head. The aroma is very skunky with sweet grass. Taste is carbonated zing with grass, malt, and metallic hops.

Can: I am certainly not above tasting a holiday leftover from my generous out of town relatives. Really, who am I to let it spoil?! Pours pale yellow, smells and tastes like a pale lager. A bit metallic, slight hops, and a whole lotta water. Woulda been better in a dixie cup.
