Can - sour malt aroma. Golden yellow with big head. Light sour malt flavor. Miller Lite with an extra 0.5% alcohol

24 oz. tallboy can in a bag. I notice the Loop 7/11 no longer sells malt liquor (but they’ve also dropped Pilsner Urquell, drat them), but I also notice the big cans of beer have their ABV printed on them, like this one (5.5% ABV). Pretty much what you’d expect. Smell is nearly non-existent, but that’s a point in its favor since I’ve had bad-smelling beers. With the first few sips, I’m already getting gassy. And it’s the same old adjunct-filled, hopless dry "beer" flavoring of any mega-brew. Force-carbonated like a seltzer water. Considering I’m taking in enough alcohol for two vodka shots, I’d have preferred the vodka shots.

Icehouse... ugh. Appearance: nothing special. Looks like cheap beer. Smell: awful! Did the canners puke into the beer while they were canning it? Tatse: hideous. I'll pass up Icehouse and drink water if there's no other beer available. Mouthfeel gets a bump above taste because while it's in your mouth, you don't gag. You wait until you swallow. This beer, for me at least, is undrinkable.

Wow how could I forget to rate this beer. It has a wonderful hop flavor, followed by an elegant complex malty full body that goes on forever, finish is clean and lingering complex fruit and malt flavors intermingle and dance on the palette as it leaves. Just kidding. this beer tastes like poop.

yellow, thin. It's drinkable when ice cold. A little bit of the predictable "american standard" taste comes through, but even in this category there are better options.

Why do brewers advertise the fact that they make their beers with ice? I never understood that. Why not just have a beer on the rocks? More domestic crap.

As most icebeers are, this one has more flavor and body than the regular macro lager equivalents. This is easy to drink without flinching from the watery bad bitterness found in other macro beers.
