Our Pale Ale is a complex hybrid between a West-Coast Pale Ale and a British-Style Pale Ale. An abundance of Cascade Hops gives this beer a citrusy, floral nose. We use a high percentage of Caramel Malt to provide a stark contrast to the hoppy front palate, giving our pale ale a smooth, malty finish.

Draught. Browny with medium head. Some hops and a kind of sickly sweetness. Not especially awesome.

Bottle at home. Aroma is grassy, citrus, biscuit, light malt, floral, slightly soapy, mild hops. Flavour is light sweet and over moderate bitter. Body is light to medium. Somewhere between a hoppy Lager and an APA. Doesn’t have a lot of character, but I found it a passable ale.

Pours a trasparent pale golden with a bit of haziness on second pour. Big fluffy white head, quite dense. Good persistence and lacing. Moderately intense aroma has a quite easily detectable white bread/hay base, slight honey, soft citric notes in the likes of citrus jam, floral notes. As mentioned, not too intense, but nice and clean. Taste follows the aroma closely, with medium sweetness and low to medium bitterness, with a semi-dry and only slightly bitter floral hops aftertaste. Light bodied with low to medium carbonation, probably a bit lower than usual per style, resulting in a very easy and smooth, quick mouthfeel. Overall this is a "mild", delicate interpretation of an american pale ale, and a clean, perfectly balanced one at that. Good.

35cl Bottle from Deen. ABV is 5.1%, brewed and bottled by Peak (not for, but by). Shipyard not mentioned on the label. BB 10-2016 (why even bother importing this stuff?). Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of soft citrus, light veggies, light malty, a bit herbal, English Pale Ale character. Flavour is light to medium sweet, light malty, light herbal, some citrus, light hoppy, decent bitterness, hint of veggies. Light bodied, a bit fizzy. Not bad.

This pale ale poured a light cloudy yellow colour with a bright white head. Scents include citrus hops with added juniper, bread, cream and a little corn. First swig was a little thin but very nice hop flavour. Somewhat bitter with flavours of lemon citrus and grass with a little honey and flowers. Finish is bitter with hops lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
