Draft. Amber beer with a nice whitish head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma. Good grapefruit flavor with summer fruit and light malt backing. Could use a bit more bitterness, but not bad. Medium bodied. Lingering grapefruit, summer fruit, and light malt.

On tap at The Ram Hotel,Portland. I had been to Laurelwood just up NW23rd Ave before, where admittedly, I like the beers, but nothing prepared me for the shock of the awfulness of these beers. This is hazy copper with thin beige head. Has sherberty hop. Some malt and terrible, horrible sherberty dry finish. Awful.

Draught at the Six Arms, Seattle Hazy orange-ochre, nearly no head. A bit of hops, citrussy with a lot of goodwill, and some cypress. Discreet hops taste, citrussy, and some hoppy bitterness. Retronasal, I get piney resin. Sticky, dry-out effect which is surprising seen the apparent low hoplevel. This one starts nearly as bland as the other McMenamin beers, but gradually builds up a beefier image.
