Bomber pours clear copper with light tan head. The aroma in musty humid prunes, roasted malts and faint pine and grapefruit hops. Much like the aroma the taste starts with roasted malts along with grapefruit and pine hops. Toward the finish the roastiness grows along with pale malts. I get a slight fir tree flavor into the finish. Not very winter like. I was expecting some spice and higher gravity. Tastes like a slightly hoppy amber ale.

Draught. Poured deep amber with lasting white head. Much hoppiness in the aroma, with a bit of pininess. Deep hoppy flavour with warmth, tastes stronger than it is. Wonderful hoppy finish. It may be just luck, I was in the mood for a good IPA and this hit the spot nicely.

(Bottle 65 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a lightly yellowish head. Fresh and citrusy nose. Medium-bodied, some caramel and then a rather raw and unrefined bitterness. Not exactly impressive. 150807

Hazy amber color. The aroma is hoppy and quite resiny, dry but perfumy and nice; also a bit soapy. The body is not too strong, with a sweet caramel flavor corrected by some good hopping. Not bad.

A cloudy brown appearance. Not very complex, hop aroma and hop flavor, with a lightly sweet malt base. Fairly smooth and easy to drink, I thought the abv was higher.

Bottle: Copper orange color with a large, frothy off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is intense citrus and floral hops, some malty sweetness. Taste is a blend of sweet malt, more hops, citrus, floral, and pine. Very dry and lingering aftertaste. Very tasty brew.
