Druaght. Blackish Brownish pour, Some coffee, chocolate etc. Pretty standard stuff.
Classic porter with a twist of chocolate. Not the best on a hot day with puppy in tow.

Sampled on draft the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was bitter with a coffee presence. The flavor was dry and bitter with notes of coffee, anise and dark fruit. Long finish. Medium bodied and smooth. ok.

Pours cloudy black with good head and lacing. Some roast malt aroma and good, well-balance package all around if nothing super out of the ordinary. Finishes with medium bitterness. Tap at brewpub in D.C.

On tap at Capitol City Brewing - Downtown, October 2011. Dark brown with a small tan head. This was the best of the five beers that I tried during my visit to the Brewpub in Downtown DC. Quite a lot of chocolate in both the aroma and taste. Also notes of roasted malt, coffee and nuts. Easy to drink and descent.
