Hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth, slightly viscous and has decent fine carbonation. Soft and sweetish malts. Big lush pine, resinous and cooling. Rich orange, lesser orange peel. Mild hop spice. The back end shows mellow pineapple led tropical fruits. Light finish. Never clobbers you with it’s abv. Big and beautiful.

22oz bomber pours with a clear pure gold body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up a dash of malts, a dash of caramel malts and then a big boozy load of grapefruit and lime and tangerine hoppiness. The taste has a fairly smooth palate to it where supple firm hops create a tasty havoc of bitter grapefruit, lime and tangerine edged with some late addition to the boil juiciness. OK. Sipping pretty good about now. To midway the modest malts come to the surface creating a sweet brown bread to faintly caramel sensation well below the bruising hops. This indeed delivers a truck load of tasty hops but the light maltiness manages to muddle things a bit and prevents this from being a stellar experience rather than just a tasty sipping experience. Still, this is 11+% of hoppy liquid love.

Sample from tap @ 38 Degrees Alehouse. Hazy golden/yellow color. Rather dense off white head. Aroma’s: citrus & resin, dank hops. Retronasal: caramel, citrussy sour, dank. Flavor is bitter and moderate sweet. Strong alcohol feel. Body is medium to full. Finishes bitter, a bit herbal. Nice, strong, but not over the top.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours light orange/copper with an off-white or beige head. Aroma is intense fruit. Citrus and melon. Full bodied or nearly. Dank or nearly. Hop burn. Flavor is some sweetish caramel nearly overwhelmed by citrus, melon and arguably a bit of pine. Heat can be detected, if an effort is made, but otherwise heat in the gullet. Finish seems well balanced - lots of hop and no small amount of malt. Finishes less than dry and hoppy/bitter. Wowser.
