A beer we brew for the first time in 2014 with 21 grams of hop per litre. Inspired by the idea that people loose 21 grams of the weight when they die, because of there soul leaving there body...

Süßlich alkoholischer Antrunk, durch hopfig, die Süße überwiegt aber. Alkoholisch, für den Alkoholgehalt süffig, insgesamt aber doch schwer, geringe Herbe. Zitrus Nachgeschmack. 8/10/7/8/11/9

Dark orange color with big white head. Aroma is heavily hopped, peaches, grapefruit, toasty caramel. Taste has a big punch, toasty malt body, warming bitter finish. Smooth carbonation. A really good well-balanced but still punchy Double IPA.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a decent mix of resinous hops and caramel malts, skewed this time more towards herbal vegetal notes. Flavour is kind of muffled, with herbal vegetal notes, resinous hops, and some biscuity malt to back. Not hoppy enough, too malty and too muffled - a common problem in European IPAs. Okay, but off the mark.

Bottle at the 7th Tasting in Belgrade-Serbia, from a trade with markoijelena I think. Grazie! Pours dark golden almost amber cloudy, minimal white head. Nose: mild caramel, butter cookies, lime pie. Mouth: De Molen profile, fresh with a prominent citrusy character. Balanced final with a nice bitter end. Lovely!

Bottle at Pibar, Lausanne; bottled 18/09/2014 bb 18/09/2016
Hazy orange/amber color, hoppy aroma, moderate, while the hop flavor is an explosion, with a strong animal character. Resiny, moderately sweet.
Excellent.

33 cl bottle at home. Label says 10.2%. Amber pour, mostly clear. Nice big of white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s: pine/resin, citrus and tropical fruit, some caramel malt. More malts retronasal, with soft fruits and resin. Flavor is moderate bitter with light sweetness and some fruits sourness. Medium to full bodied. Quite strong alcohol feel. Finishes resinous and herbal bitter. Nice , but maybe past its prime.
