A thirst quenching session beer, Sour Suzy mimics a classic German brewing technique (sour mashing) to impart a light, refreshing tartness. No hop bitterness and very low hop profile, Sour Suzy is not your typical session beer - rather it delivers something a bit more obscure and intriguing. It drinks as refreshingly as a glass of lemonade. The grain bill includes a healthy portion of wheat, while citrusy hops lend bright notes to the aroma, which is accentuated by the addition of Makrut lime leaves.

Can, small stable bubbly head, clear Pale straw yellow color, minerals, citrus, some, some light lactic notes, lemony sourness, just a tropical whiff. Nice, really thirst quenching.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast and lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate sour, with a fresh, crisp, mineral, light tart lemon citrus palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Refreshing, but not a beer I’d want a case of.

Pours a clear blonde, small white head. Scent is dry, trypical BW - finally ! One of my biggest negative feelings in craftbeer, is how everyone makes the same styles ( NEIPA, Stout, Fruity sours) . i've been asking for basic, traditional , rare styles like Berliner weisse for years. Lervig stepped up their game ! Taste is full, wheat shines trough nicely. Mild tartness (lactic acid) . Very dry, and an almost salty touch. Nice ! perhaps a bit soft ont he sour side, but easy drinkin' and not diluted woth fruits, imperial version, nor dryhopped out of style.

Tåkete lys gul med tynt hvitt skum. Lukter korn og litt sitrus. Noe syrlig i smak. Mest sitron. Lett og vannete.
