Hartverwarmend winterbier. Texels Noorderwiend is een complex winterbier gebrouwen met gedroogde curacaoschillen en diverse soorten speciaal mout. Hartverwarmend, zachtbitter en fruitig. We brouwen ons karaktervolle winterbier met diverse soorten gerst, geoogst op Texel zelf. Maar ook met gedroogde curaçaoschillen en een beetje tarwemout, dat dit hartverwarmende bier extra vol en romig maakt.

Two years to expiration and this bottle is oxidized as hell. Otherwise a seemingly decent beer. Red and malty. Online beerwulf. sept 2020 Again in Beerwulf advent kal. Fantastic malty clean beer. Full flavored and tasty.

13 December 2019. Christmas Beer Evening with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy amber with a lasting, very small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, speculoos, biscuit, caramel, raisin, clove, candied banana. Taste has sweet caramel, candied banana, biscuit & brioche, softly bitter spicy cinnamon & clove. Ends with herbal hops, caramel, cookie & softly warming liqueur alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Good semi-strong Belgian Ale.

Amberkleurig bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en licht kruidig met iets van sinaasappel, kaneel en karamel.

Orange peels are dominating the aroma. Yeasty flavor with hints of roasted malt, nothing more. Orange. Not too sweet. Not entirely convincing, this beer. A 2008 version, tasted in june 2011 had sherry, caramel and apple syrup in the aroma. Sweet sherry flavor with sweets apples and plums. Soft but pleasant, with still some carbon left.

Fles gekregen van Roelzie1986. Het is een helder bruin bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige geur. De smaak is caramel achtig.
