2/X/14 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 18/VI/15, bottled: 18/VI/14 (2014-1170)
Note: as a huge Rammstein fan, I couldn't let this one pass, now could I?

Little hazy dark orange beer, irregular off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, caramel, malty, sugary, sweet grapes, some honey. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very sweet, start, malty, caramel, little bitter, chemical touch. Aftertaste: sweet, caramel, some honey, pretty bitter, raisins, alcohol.

Cheers Bierkoning! 33 cl. bottle @ home. Bottled on 18/06/2014. Drank whilst listening to the proper Rammstein song. Gorgeous appearance, golden, super creamy thick white head. Creamy orange, bread nose, sweet, touch DE fish guts yeast thing going on, light spices, sugar. Taste is spices, multigrain bread, orange, thick, floral, plenty of fish guts, yeasty, fruity, caramel, light warming, sweet, faint fruits, slightly warming spices, flowers & touch metal in the back. Thick yeast / dough body. It is okay but doesn’t feel very outspoken for what it is supposed to be, flavours are a bit muted. It does open up a bit at warmer temperature. I think with a lower ABV this would have been probably more outspoken, now it is almost going into a slight sugary tripel with DE / bottom fermenting yeast direction. Still nice beer & nice idea even if not entirely successful.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes hell orangegelbes Bier mit ordenticher stabiler weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, hefig, getreidig, fruchtig. Geschmack fruchtig getreidig, scharf malzig, leicht alkoholisch.

Very hazy amber - gold beer, short white head. Palate is light and crisp. Slight sweet malts and nutty in a German sort of way. Floral sweetness. Minerals. Finishes light and very slightly bitter. Interesting but not totally engaging.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Cheers Edo, off to another 10K! Murky golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of plastic/glue, yeast, malts, grass, herbal hops. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, light bready, alcohol, yeast, plastic, grassy bitter finish. Medium-bodied, slick. Not a fan of this, unfortunately.

Bottle @ home, opened in accordance with the "worldwide" tasting for bierkoning, Travlr and Koelschtrinker’s 10K beer celebration. Hazy brownish amber color. Huge off white head with long retention. Aroma’s of caramel, soft fruit, sweet malts, hints of spices. Flavor is moderate sweet, caramellish. Medium bodied. Quite high carbo at first. Finishes a bit dry, slightly herbal and ever so slightly bitter. Cheers guys!

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes, opened in accordance with the "worldwide" tasting for bierkoning, Travlr and Koelschtrinker’s 10K beer celebration. My 8000th rating. Cheers Edo, Gene and Roman, to many more! Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, lightly a touch of smoke. Taste malts, smoke, lightly some alcohol, light to moderately bitter, slightly peppery finish. Decent body and carbonation.
