Old rating from 2016 - 330ml bottle, gift from friends who visited Cuba. Pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of corn, hay, grain & skunk. Moderate body. Light carbonation. Dry finish

Bottle 0,35ltr: Clear golden brew with an grassy smell at the start, and there is somehow bitter finish. Much better than an Mexican Corona, works best in Cuba this beer.

Clear pale clear colour with no head.Taste of candy and water really thin beer,sweet note of flower but still really thin RB rating 2008

Klar lys brun med hvitt skum. Lukter en anelse av malt og honning, Søt og vannete. Perla, Oslo.

12 oz can found at the favored HEB supermarket locally. My first Cuban beer, not much to say about that. I am using a tulip glass this afternoon, tilting the can now and pouring. Totally clear with a sparkling yellow color and persistent cover of snow white foam. I smell grain, corn and citrus, par for the course for the style imo. The taste gives lemon, white bread and more of the corn. A touch of bitterness but no sweetness at all. I can say the presence is full, there is that. Still, it is a basic beer in a basic style.

Lattina. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dall'orzo. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è appena percepibile. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è appena percepibile e si prolunga in modo appena percepibile. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Non ha un retrogusto particolare, giusto quello prevalente di malto.

355ml can, smuggled back from Cuba by my neighbour without me even asking. Turns out I already had a Cuba country tick, oh well. Pours a crystal clear golden, head disappeared immediately. Aroma is a bit vegetal (rotting), sweet malts. Taste is the same, vegetal, sweet grainy malts, corny, no hops, watery. Yeah it's no good. Bet it tastes significantly better on holiday in Cuba.
