330ml bottle Pours dark brown, almost black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, ash, licorice, chocolate and leather. Taste is sweet, roasty and syrupy with notes of licorice, ash and chocolate. Finish is carbonated, syrupy and roasty with notes of ash and chocolate. A bit unbalanced and too carbonated .7-4-8-3-14 =3.6
Re-rated on 20.3.2015. 330ml bottle @ Bier-Bier, Helsinki. Feels more balanced and the ashy tones aren’t as disturbing as previously.

Bottle. Pours black with a finger high off white head. Notes of coffee, milk chocolate and lots of cardamum. Sweet taste of milk chocolate, vanilla and cardamum. Vinous coffee in aftertaste. Has a light feel to it. Smooth, oily mouthfeel.

Draft at BBF. Very dark maroon brown color, medium head. Aroma of dark cocoa, burnt espresso. Taste is intense coffee and chocolate.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes or roasted malt, alcohol, wood, and soy sauce, leading to a dry and roasted finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
