Unser SCHUMACHER ALT (4,6 Vol.-%) ist ein würziges Vollbier, das nach alter Tradition gebraut wird. Die obergärige Spezialität besticht durch Ihren schlanken Geschmack mit einer leicht malzigen Note und die erfrischende Wirkung reiner Gärungskohlensäure.
Die edlen Aromahopfen aus der Hallertau und dem Tettnang sorgen für die feine Bittere und das abgerundete Aroma. Und eine glänzende Bernsteinfarbe sowie der kräftige Schaum lassen schon auf den ersten Blick erkennen: Bei unserem Altbier wurde das Zusammenspiel von Hopfen, Malz und traditioneller Schumacher-Hefe perfektioniert.

330 ml swing-top bottle. Pours unclear amber with a small foamy head. Caramel, rye bread, some toffee, worth, lemon, slightly metallic. Dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium to light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry malty bittersweet finish. Decent Alt with a bold malty and bitter character.

33 cl. flip-top bottle @ home, bought @ Trinkgut Kleve. Clear brown with an off-white head. Nice malty bready caramel aroma. Sweet taste with a slight metallic finish, fitting for the style. A fine example of an altbier.

330ml Bottle - Brown with orange tinges and a foamy head. Caramel, sultanas, nuts and some hints of dried apricot in the aroma. Biscuity taste with notes of toffee, pecan nuts, walnuts and dried fruit.

11/7/2020. Bottle at the NCFC relegation party, courtesy of Idiosynkrasie, cheers Boris! Poured clear deep amber with a creamy long lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee, hop, bread and fruit. Medium sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Looked great, and quite enjoyed it.

From fass @Luppolo Station (Rome). Ambrata intensa, viva, schiuma bianca leggera. Al naso note di caramello, toffee, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è dolce, ancora caramello, toffee, e chiusura amara leggera a bilanciare. Corpo leggero, carbonazione leggera. Ci sta.
