Dobre zytnie piwo z jakimis dodatkami. Specjalnie ich nie moglem rozszyfrowac. Ale tresciwe i ladnie wygladajace. Piana rosnie szybko ale srednio sie trzyma. Kolor bursztynowy lekko metny. Slodowosc spora, w smaku jakby prazone orzeszki ziemne lub fistaszki. Ciekawe piwo, lekkie pasujace do kanapek zrobionych z swierzego chleba zytniego.

Pours a bit hazy, a lot of foam. Foam looks a bit darker and dissipates soon. Aroma has some honey, fruits, a bit of hops. Taste has hop bitterness but also some candy. Can’t really feel the rye here. Aftertaste is not very intense, hop bitterness and tannins linger on the tongue but nothing too serious.

Clear, dark golden. Not much head. Bitter aroma of American hops. Decent drinkability. Perhaps lacking a bit in character.

(Draught at Jopenkerk, Haarlem, 27 Feb 2014) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of grainy malt, toast, citrus, crisp-bread and a slightly metallic touch. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, apricots, orange peel, toast and a fresh citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

Nieuw: Erg bitter en stroef. Weet niet waarom ik hier eerder zo lyrisch over was. Weinig body of complexiteit. Backlog from 2015/11/24. Old rating: Very nice and refreshing mild pale ale with a nice carbonation. Nostalgic smell of cellars, nice bite with lemongrass flavors as well as a faint hint of cinnamon. Backlog from 2014/03/09.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.3%. Golden brown colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Dryish aroma of wood and lightly roasted malts, hints of ashes. Dry flavour with a slight fruity acidity, notes of wood, rye bread and lightly roasted malts again, some resin. Medium bitter aftertaste.

Clear copper with small head. Spices, fresh baked dark bread, lots of citrusy hops and light tropical fruit. Light sweet with hoppy bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Pretty interesting stuff.
