Headbanger is a strong and distinctive Imperial IPA with a solid malty backbone, and a blend of seven American hops that pack a solid punch of pungency and aroma. We’ve partnered with our friends from a crossover thrash band Tester Gier to come up with this beer.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus fruits, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Sampled draft @ Kufle i Kapsle. Up the Irons! Hazy orange, off-white head. Nose is tropical fruits but also overly milky yeasty base. Taste is far too thick for what it should be milky sweet, oily white sugar, candy,... Far too thick, oily sweet, sugar but manageable.

Bottle shared in Warsaw. Pours clear orange with a bubbly, white head. The nose has some rindy citrus, bread, pine needles. Medium sweet flavour with strong grassy bitterness, jammy citrus fruits, marmalade, light toasted caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with assertive bitter grass and pine, crunchy pale malts. Too old school for me.

Hazed orange amber with a decent off white / light beige covering. Nose is bitter orange, light perfume, bread dough, caramel. Taste comprises bitter orange, straw, light pine, toasted bread, caramel, booze. Medium + bodied with a light punch, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness in the close with a light boost. Average for style at best .. old skool, no cohesion, no fresh hop ... look up Cloudwater please !
