Alkoholgehalt: 10,00% vol

Also at my 20K in Jan last year. Was fascinated by the drinkability of this one so got another bottle. Almost clear reddish - amber beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, softish too. Mild minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, fluffy creamy sweetness. A little caramel. Whisper of vanilla. Light red wine berry fruits. Some strawberry. Trace of spice. Smooth finish. It’s not a shouty beer this, but there is something about it that makes it so very drinkable.

Bottle split at Kenny 20K, thanks to the man of the moment, 15/01/16. Orange amber with a thin off white covering. Nose is sweet malts, light berry notes, booze tones, airy malt, toffee. Taste comprises light spice, booze, grain, light caramel, really not a lot going down. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a booze tickle. Underwhelming stuff ... just no depth to justfy the ABV.

Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20K tasting - London. Many thanks to the big man himself for this one. Pours clear, deep gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds cereal and light paper. Moderately sweet, yet somewhat drying, with more cereal, reflections of citrus fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish with more cereal, bread, light bitter hay. Meh, just so so.

Bottle big thanks to Kenny during his 20K celebrations. It pours clear deep amber with a small white head. The nose is rich malts, bitter - sweet, tangy fruits, cherry jam, earth and toffee. The taste is rich, oily, toasted brown bread, toffee, wood, earth, strawberries & cream, raspberry, wood and leather with a dry, woody finish. Medium - full body and moderate carbonation. Rich, oily and almost vinous. A bit too perhaps, but it is quite nice.

Bottle at Madmitch 20k tasting. Reddish amber colour . Lasting white head. Aroma was good but then flavour was a bit of a let down. Overly sweet bit of puke. It’s a doppelbock. Some sting on finish. Sweet.
