THT August at Kwartje. Sampled from can. Opaque purple with thin white head. Blood orange, beetroot, blueberry, strawberry, lactose, sopropo (Google it!) and wasabi smoothie. Moderate sweet and strong bitter, insane sharp bitter/spicy note in the finish. Like raw prickly nettles or really sharp onions or wasabi in your throat. Medium body and a very juicy texture with soft carbonation. Can at THT. Murky red with small light pink head. Smells rotten! Massive green onion, burning hops, some weird fruits. Medium sweet and crazy bitter. Medium bodied with strong burn. I get the recall, this is really really bad.

5 1 4 1 9 Can shared at THT August. Milky murky purple with a ring off white head. Aroma of rotten beetroot and lactose. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a horrible hop burn finish and soft carbonation.

Can at home. Pours deep purple, nose is blueberry, grassy, some citrus, taste is sweet, creamy, juicy blueberry, dry finish, dry finish. Fair bit of heat from the cinnamon. Edit - seems the heat is from the hop burn, still ok.

Rerate thanks to Mr Angry. Hasnt mellowed with age. Just not great. Can at Suds & Soda. Pours opaque purple with a thin pink head. Aroma is quite bitter and dank with some oats and berry sweetness. Taste is a sweet raspberry and Blueberry Milkshakes with a dank bitter pine finish. It’s a little odd and a bit grainy. A fun IPA but a little too bitter and unbalanced for me.
