Flesje gedronken tijdens vakantie. Goudgeel tot oranje kleurig bier met matig schuim dat snel weg is. Geur en smaak is citrusachtig, verder is de zeer hoppig. De bitterheid blijft lang in de mond hangen hierdoor valt het mij een beetje tegen.

Oct. ’16. A 0.300 l bottle that poured a clear golden body with smaller head. Sweetish aroma, fruity, belgian yeast, vanilla. Flavor was again malty with dominant Belgian touch to it, much more than weak, subdued citrus hoppy note. Meaning vanilla, candy, yeast and caramel dominating. Medium to thin bodied with moderately long sugary finish, only turning very lightly dry at the very end of the aftertaste. Not bad, drinkable and enjoyable but also can’t understand why they would call this an IPA and, after all, not that good for an ordinary Belgian ale either.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Deep golden. Malt, stale hops, cardboard, caramel, sweet, oxidation, bitter finish, a light alcoholic note.

Thnx Tim ! Pours clear, just a bit darker blonde. Small white head. Smell is weak, fruity, and a bit grainy/boozy. Taste is thin, sharp ( unnaturally ) bitter, touch of floral aspects ( i’m doubting this is natural though ) Tastes a bit astrigent, and chemical, and metallic , right from the start, till the lae aftertaste. I get plastic notes as well. Loads of off-flavors but in very small quantities. thin body, agreeable carbo. It’s a pitty zhat they dare to call IPA these days...

Gezien de prijs, is dit een uitstekende kwaliteit voor een IPA. Ruikt lekker hoppig, volle smaak. Mooie kleur.

Off white, fluffy head stayed well on a translucent, apple juice coloured body. Peach, melon & candy sweet aroma. Medium bodied, sharp, prickly on the back & dry on the aft. Bitter citrus, grapefruit & hints of malt.
