Post Borefts VII, Day 2 - Den Haag walkabout. Bierspeciaalcafe De Paas. Bottle. Bright clear gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light malts, not that sweet. Minerals. Mild floral bitterness. Some spice. Modest citric peel. Light sweet esters. Crisp finish. Fine.

Bottle split at Cafe De Paas, Den Hague, 26/09/15. Clear golden copper topped with an off White swirl. Nose is Banana bread, yeast, sweet exhaust, caramel malt. Taste comprises caramel malt, light orange squash, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Pedestrian stuff for the style ... had worse from so called micro/craft rewers but they have opened themselves up for the ’Bland’ IPA gag !

Bottle at De Oude Sluis, Delfshaven, Rotterdam, Netherlands, Sunday 27th September 2015 Pours really orangey gold with a white head. Sweet orange but a bit like a boiled sweet type sweetness. Brand rhymes with bland which sadly is where this beer sits, it’s ok. A5 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 2.9

Bottle split with 77ships post Van Moll fest. BB 05/2016.

330 ml. bottle sample @ train-ride post Oersoep / Van Moll Festival week-end with Sebletitje. Cheers! Purchased @ Albert Heijn. BBF 05/16. Light hazy golden, creamy small head. Nose is oily mineral, orange peel, oily chemical grapefruit peel & big insecticide. Taste is odd herbal, insect killer, super oily, chemical, odd nasty, herbal, touch medicinal. Very oily. Not good but better than expected. It is still odd to see breweries this being making industrial “IPA’s”.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear straw colour with little life. The aroma is light malt hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a woody resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Ok and refreshing but a predictable Brand beer.

Donkergeel bier met weinig schum Smaak is hoppig bitter en droog, typische IPA smaak, zwarte thee en citroen. Helaas iets te vlak van smaak en daarom een wat lagere waardering.

Bottle at De Knijnspiep, Maastricht. Clear amber color, good off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramel, some hayish notes. Typical macro ipa: sweet ale without bitterness.
