Tap at Lemmy’s. Deep orange-amner, glowing, clear. Sweet, fruity flavors of citrus, peaches, and grapes. Light bodied. nothing surprising, but not bad.

Bottle at home. Clear orange golden with small off white head. Sweet malts, paper, orange peel, flowery, light herbs de Provence. Slight medicinal and some cream. Light to medium sweet with nice long lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied. More like a German beer with extra high ABV. Quite a weird beer actually. They probably think that a premium beer should also have more alcohol than a pils... I don’t get it, but it’s not a bad beer overall.

Orange copper colour. Thin, quick fading head. Some resinous hop in the aroma and sweet floral notes too. Fairly sticky. Bitter citrus pith taste.

(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2015) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with crystal malt, leafy hops, citrus, apricots and a touch of resin. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, canned peaches, apricots and a generous resiny bitterness in a finish with a slightly metallic touch. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, with a slight macro feel to it. Quite nice.

Bottle. Golden color, white head. Aroma of citrus and biscuit, not bad. Tastes mildly bitter, with caramelly malt, citrus, peach and a little malt. Freshly bitter and fruity, quite drinkable and a lot better than I expected.

bottle as part of European Local Swap 1 from RW80, thanks Robert. golden, clear shiny color. small white head. smells banana, vanilla, light spices, peaches or apricot, light malty sweet smell. full body, rather sweet fruity taste, very light carbonation, apricot, mango, some light citric / grapefruity astringency on aftertaste some strawberries. some nice bitter astringent finish. this one actually surprised me quite a bit. did not expect much by the low rating. But I really enjoyed it. Its a bit on the sweet side, but quite fruity / unique.

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Tiel. Clear amber with a white head. Hoppy aroma, slightly bitter taste. As said before it’s not the greatest IPA ever made but that was not the aim at all. What it aims at is being a nice affordable alternative to pilsener in the Netherlands and in that is succeeds fairly well, although Gulpener Ur-Hop does a better job at that. Nice entry level Dutch IPA

Clear medium amber colour, good frothy off-white head, good retention, nice lacing. Citrus aroma, grain, grapefruit, lime, grass, citrus. Taste medium bitter and sweet, malty, citrus, grass. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth mild bitter aftertaste, light fruity sweetness, nice, very drinkable.
