I Draught /I Good fine snowwhite head over hazy darker orange beer. Aromatic, fruity & floral nose, but with a strange - not unpleasant - aftermath that is ashy-smoke. Faint whiff of sulphur. More sulphur in the mouth, asafoetida, orangepeel, grapefruitpeel, dried spices. Very hopoily, medium to well-bodied, just a tad chewy. Seems difficult to brew a really outstanding double IPA. No exception here.

Can sourced from Kihoskh and shared at home - light hazy amber coloured pour wth a white head. Sweet fruity and malty with some caramel, some grapefruit and orange, medium body, piney resinous hoppy finish.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly sugary, caramel malty and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, zesty notes of grapefruit, orange, mandarine. Taste is citrusy hoppy and slightly sugary, caramel malty, moderately bitter, zesty, notes of grapefruit, orange, mandarine.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, a bit pale yellow color with a decent sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, hops, traditional "old school" hoppiness and light resinous notes mixed with a little bit of that new super tropical fruity hoppiness. Very well done, very nice. Flavor is malts, hops, again a very nice blend of what I call old school hoppiness and tropical fruit hoppiness that comes with all those NEIPA's and hazy/juicy IPA's these days, but in this case there is still a fine amount of bitterness. Is this the best of both worlds? Well, it's a pretty good attempt imo. I still don't fancy the appearance, but I strongly support the (tropical) fruitiness mixed with hop bitterness in this beer. Personally I would have liked it to also have some pine / resin in the flavor, but I shouldn't be whining about that. It's a very nice beer, well done (again) Buxton!
