DeWitt van de Utrechtse brouwerij vandeStreek is een Weizen. In samenwerking met de Utrechtse band DEWITT hebben zij dit bier ontwikkeld. Een echte zomerse Weizen die is gebrouwen met citroensap. Flink in de tarwe en redelijk bitter in smaak. De citrustonen brengen dit bier mooi in balans.

Sample at the Delft beer festival. Thick creamy white head. Cloudy lemony pour. Nice citrus bitterness

Tap at Delfts bierfestival. Slight hazy straw with white head. Cloves, lots of weizen yeast, dough, lemon peel. Light sweet with medium bitterness. Light to medium bodied with creamy feel.

Draught @ Kafe Belgie, Utrecht. Aroma is musty, sweet and sticky with fruit candy tones and some apricot. Flavour has apricot, sweet fruit candy tones, mild spiciness and flour. Also some mineral tones after some sips - and I noticed also some diacetyl once mr. oh6gdx mentioned it. A candy-wit, too sweet to be enjoyable or refreshing - becomes even sticky after some sips. A hefe? Does not taste like one.

Bottled@Kafe Belgie, Utrecht. Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, wheaty, yeasty and some diacetyl. Flavour is wheat, yeast, some floral and mild toffeeish notes. Decent, but not too exciting.
