Clear pale gold with a sweet citrus aroma. Fresh and fruity with floral hops, citrus bitterness and a dry finish.

Old rating from 02/09/14. A 500ml bottle I picked up on my trip through Cheshire. Poured at home in Jersey, it's amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, fruits, flora & intense hops. Medium body. Smooth light bitter finish. Very enjoyable

Can at home. Aroma is zesty citrus, lemon, pale malt, citrussy hops, orange. Flavour is lightly sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Loads of zesty citrus, lemon, citrussy hops with a light pale malt backbone. Crisp and citrussy, I dig.

April 2011: Cask (hand pump) at the Darlington Spring Thing Beer Festival 2011. Deep golden colour, low head. Lovely aroma of fruity hops, notes of tropical fruits / passion fruit. The flavour is also dominated by fruity hops, hints of tropical fruits, could use a little more citrussy freshness, but still good. One of the better beers of the festival.

Cask at Captain Cooks, Östersund. This is exactly what I want out of a cask pale ale. Nice fruity aroma and classic English bitterness. Yummy.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a very slightly hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, juicy lemon citrus, yeasty, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
