Light and fresh with a hint of ginger and citrus, makes a delicious aperitif or perfectly accompanies any spicy Indian or Chinese meal. Our first Fairtrade real ale.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol, 23/11/08. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white head. Spicy, ginger and lemon grass aroma. Flavour of sweetish malts with plenty of ginger and a hint of orange hops, before a short bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle. Lightly golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is light and sweetly ginger. The flavour is very bitter, strongly ginger and tangy dry. Overall a reasonable ginger beer.
