(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 1 March 2014) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity, spicy nose with tropical fruit, grass, coriander and bready malt. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, citrus, bready malt, coriander and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Spicy and tasty. Nice one.

On tap @ Arendsnest. Amber color, cloudy. Firm white head with good lacing. Aroma’s: sour fruit, caramel malts with faint hints of brett. Malts more upfront retronasal. Flavor is light sweet, caramel malts, a bit herbal/spicy, light fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Carbonation is quite low. Finishes with caramel, herbal, ever so slightly bitter.

33cl Bottle from Drankenservice Francoise. Hazy amber colour, white fluffy head. Aroma of spicy yeast, fruity, some citrus, flowers. Flavour is spicy, malty, fruity, yeasty, firm yeasty bitter finish, nuts. Light-bodied, way over-carbonated at first, but after a while and a few swirls this is nicely drinkable. Decent beer with potential.

Bottle on the NS tasting between Leiden and Den Haag and courtesy of Kermis. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is zesty citrus with a little neutral veggie too. The flavour is moderate sour with a watery bubbly neutral veggie palate and little or no flavour. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation.
